Jim was first elected to the Dáil in 1977. He leads the Fine Gael delegation in the British-Irish Inter Parliamentary body.

. P.J. was first elected to the Dáil in 1981, in 2007 he was re-elected having lost his seat in 2002. He is currently Fine Gael’s Deputy Spokesperson on Agriculture with Special Responsibility for Forestry.
